eMerchantPay’s CEO Resigns

LOS ANGELES — eMerchantPay and its former CEO Craig Drury announced today that Drury recently resigned from his position.

Drury took the role of CEO in 2009 after serving as deputy CEO since January 2008, tasked with the responsibility of making eMerchantPay a leading online billing company.

“Craig joined us when we were relatively new to the online payment space,” eMerchantPay’s Chairman Jonas Reynisson said. “His work with us was invaluable in achieving our current success. Craig has been instrumental in eMerchantPay securing its current position as a major player in the online billing world. During his time with us Craig laid the foundation on which our brand has been built, a brand which is now well recognized and respected in the world of online payments. Craig certainly helped drive us to where we are today. I would like to use this opportunity to thank Craig for his dedication and hard work and wish him continuous future success.”

Drury also reflected on his contributions to eMerchantPay.

“I am more than happy that I led the company to many successes and this can be continually built upon by the team at eMerchantPay,” Drury said. “All aspects of the business including sales, marketing, support, and management are now performing far beyond the expectations of the shareholders. We built a terrific team of hard working professionals and had amazing success in surpassing our goals. I enjoyed my time with eMerchantPay I will miss the team greatly.”

eMerchantPay’s recent partnership with Playboy to co-host the revitalized Webmaster Access Amsterdam is among Drury’s achievements in building the brand. The company said Drury’s efforts have established eMerchantPay as a thoroughly rounded and reputable billing company that’s emulated by many in its sector.

“My intention is to remain in the field of billing and I look forward to working as a consultant to new and old acquaintances alike,” Drury said. “I welcome the opportunity to work with other companies in the adult industry, but I must say I am looking forward to running my own company again.”

The company has not yet announced plans to name a replacement, with chairman and founder Jonas Reynisson assuming Drury’s former role as CEO.
